I'm a new subscriber, and I have so much to learn! We are renting where we live now, hoping to someday soon buy a place with land to spread out on a bit, and composting is high on my list of things to start doing when we get there. I've read some, but like Sam, often feel so overwhelmed! But, then I think of other things I've started doing that seemed overwhelming at first (having kids, gardening, beekeeping, chicken keeping, sourdough bread making, to name a few) and I'm STILL learning, constantly, about all of it. But, even though I'm no expert, I'm loving all of it. That overwhelm phase is relatively short compared to the "I'm actually figuring this out" learning phase. I may never be an expert at anything, but I'm excited to try, and grateful for your newsletter to read in the meantime!

It sounds like you have exactly the kinda attitude I try to encourage, ha: just get in there and try. I'll be back on my regular posting schedule soon, but if you have any particular questions or want to chat compost - pls feel free to just email me: cmarketos@gmail.com - I am happy to help ya out!

Thank you for this feature of my journey into composting, Cass! A much needed reminder for myself to not allow fear of the unknown to overwhelm the benefits of composting. :)
